Mr. Brennan engages in criminal defense, civil litigation, and appellate litigation, while also maintaining a practice counseling individuals and companies regarding contract negotiations and legal matters relating to small businesses.

Mr. Brennan has represented criminal defendants in homicide, securities fraud, and other felony cases.  He also advocates for individual and corporate clients in a wide range of civil litigation and administrative matters.  Mr. Brennan brings a technical approach to his cases, emphasizing aggressive motion practice aimed at resolving disputes quickly and efficiently.  He has successfully prosecuted and defended temporary restraining orders and successfully resolved cases on summary judgment.

Mr. Brennan’s clients benefit from his command of the substantive law combined with his personable yet persistent negotiating style.  Mr. Brennan recently negotiated with Colorado’s Public Employees Retirement Account (PERA) for over a year in order to prevent one of his clients from losing her pension benefits.

Mr. Brennan began his legal career at Morrison & Foerster LLP working in the areas of commercial and employment litigation.  He then practiced corporate law at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP, where he represented clients in entity formation, private and public financings, asset securitizations, and acquisitions.
